About

Sterling is an accounting program for the GNOME platform inspired by Tomboy. The goal is to have an easy-to-use, streamlined interface for "trivial" accounting tasks, like keeping track of your personal income and expenses.

Sterling is written in C# using the Mono platform, but should be portable to other platforms with a little work.

We're still in the initial design phase, so the program does not do anything useful yet.

We haven't yet made a stable release, but you can check the code out from the version control system - we use Git - with the following command:

The code is usually kept in a buildable state.
